Camille Rosenmeier

Camille Rosenmeier was born to a large Catholic family in Wisconsin.  While the appearance of her family was perfect, Camille’s childhood was marked by trauma.  Camille overcame foster care, homelessness and substance abuse.  A turning point was having her first child, a daughter.  Being a mother shifted Camille’s focus and empowered her to turn her life around.  Since then, she got married and had two more children.  Camille also became the proud owner of her own home.  Camille is a survivor.  She sought out help, worked hard, and found a new lease on life.  Camille treasures her family and is grateful to be alive.

Despite her difficult path, Camille is full of hope.  She smiles a lot and always finds time to make someone else feel better.  Camille leads with resilience and positivity.  Working at Chegwin Elementary school and the YMCA, Camille passionately advocates for disadvantaged children in the community.  She treasures her volunteer work with Social Services and the Women’s Empowerment Series.   She constantly works on improving herself.  Camille plans on continuing her studies in education and special education in the future.  She has a desire to succeed for her family and for herself.  Camille hopes to inspire others to pursue their dreams.

Camille’s calling in life is to make the world a happier place.  She is grateful for anyone who made her life happier.  Camille knows that even the smallest gestures can make a difference.  She can always spot the helpers around her and makes sure to acknowledge them.  Camille is open and honest.  Mindful of other peoples’ challenges, she is very giving of herself.  She treasures making someone else feel special.  Camille hopes that everyone would pay more attention to others and lift them up.  She believes that we can change the world for the better, one small act of kindness at a time.
