Allison Conrad was born and raised in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  At Ahern in Fond du Lac, Allison works as the office manager for the Fire Systems and Equipment Business Unit.  With a carpenter father and her previous working experience, she has strong ties to the construction industry.  It is important to Allison that others feel seen and heard, while adding a touch of humor to make those around her laugh. She believes in living one's life whole-heartedly.  Allison energizes being in nature and loves sitting by a fire with friends.

Allison leads with resilience and empathy.  She advocates for mental health and encourages everyone to take care of themselves.  Her caring nature does not just extend to those lucky to be around her but also to the animal world.  Family is most important to Allison.  This includes the family she has built for herself, a group of close-knit girlfriends she has known throughout her life.  She and her girlfriends support each other through challenges and lift each other up.  Allison would do anything for them.

Allison values growth opportunities and the knowledge she has gained.  This includes mastering her leadership role at work and immersing herself in the world of homeowning and gardening.  She is inspired by her female colleagues' efforts and contributions.  Together with them, Allison shows that women can shine in the construction industry.  Compassionate and yet strong, Allison works hard to create opportunities for the next generation of women in construction.  She wishes that we would all focus more on the needs of others and end bullying.  Like her idol Dolly Parton, Allison encourages others to "leave something good in every day."
