On April 24, Hans & Beth were married with a ceremony and reception at the Grand Palladium Resort in Jamaica.

Beth was my next door neighbor growing up, and we have been friends for a long time.  Now, my husband and I are good friends with Beth and Hans. Beth is a talented interior designer, even making her own flowers for the wedding, and Hans is a well know builder in the Fox Valley, WI area. 

My first favorite memory from the day is when Hans fell asleep on a vacant massage table near the ocean after kindly being kicked out of his room so his bride-to-be could get ready for the ceremony. It was perfect and very representative of the laid-back nature of this wonderful day. While Hans was napping, Beth and her bridesmaids and family were taking the time to relax and laugh before the ceremony

I loved seeing Beth walking down the long aisle with her father, Tom, and seeing Hans waiting for his bride at the end of the aisle. To me, it showed pure happiness and excitement.

I also thought the moment between the flower girl and her father walking was touching. The flower girl is the niece of Beth and Hans, and she means a lot to both of them. I felt that family was the central theme of the day, even far from home.
