Greg and Katrina were married on August 8^th with a ceremony at the Church of the Resurrection in Wausau, WI, and a reception at the Wausau Country Club.

These two have probably the most amazing first date story! They met while in college and first started dating while studying in Europe. Their first date was at the Eiffel Tower! How cool is that?

On the day of the wedding itself, it was clear how much family means to these two. They are already surrounded by reminders of their family and their heritage, even in their names. Gregory’s father’s name is also Gregory, and Katrina’s mother is called Katreen—and her grandmother is Katrine! Additionally, Gregory had Katrina’s engagement ring custom-made from the diamond in her grandmother’s ring.

It was amazing to see the whole family—on both sides—getting so involved. The maid of honor was Gregory’s sister, Brianna, who is also good friends with Katrina. And Katrina’s brother, Markus, played guitar to “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey with the band during the reception!

Then, when Gregory danced with his mother, he was radiating with so much emotion that it was a perfect moment to capture.
