Ben & Jourdan's Engagement Session | WI Wedding Photographer
I met Ben and Jourdan mid-November for a late autumn engagement session. I instantly clicked with this couple, and we had a great time.
Jourdan told me the story of how Ben proposed:
“Ben and his dad made our bed, and when they finally got it put together, Ben painted the words ‘will you marry me’ in the three drawers on my side. He hoped I would find them myself; however, I didn’t, so one night before bed, he had them pulled out when I came to bed. The rest is history! However, if he didn’t pull them out I’d probably still not be engaged—ha!”
It’s been colder than average this fall in Wisconsin, but Ben and Jourdan were troopers. And I have to say, we found the perfect locations even with the lack of foliage.
I was having so much fun photographing the two of them plus Zoe, their dog, that I had a hard time stopping! I love dogs; they hold a special place in my heart, especially because they instantly become part of your family. Zoe is still a puppy and being trained to hunt. She was full of love and a lot of energy—the perfect accessory to this session!
Thank you, Ben & Jourdan, for trusting me with this special moment in your lives. I can’t wait to be your WI wedding photographer at Brighton Acres next year!
Beautiful job Laura..I am so excited for my Daughters wedding. Ben will be a great son-in-law.
Thank you so much! Ben & Jourdan were amazing to work with, they’re naturals:)
