Hailing from scenic Eden, Debra Beck is a material handler at Ahern's Fond du Lac Fire Protection Shop where she chooses and orders materials for welding and construction projects.  Having grown up on a farm with five brothers, Debbie is not fazed by the fact that she is the only woman in the shop.  She manages any situation with calm and a great sense of humor.  Debbie's beautiful smile will light up any room.  At the end of the day, she unwinds on her drive home listing to country music.  Debbie relaxes mowing her lawn and enjoys baking.  Her colleagues always look forward to eating her delicious sugar cookies and raspberry torte.

Debbie leads with dedication and humility.  She acquired her inspiring work ethic doing many different jobs on her parents' dairy farm.  At Ahern, Debbie loves that her days are unpredictable.  She thrives at tackling challenges.  Debbie's can-do attitude allows her to handle any situation with competence and focus.  Most recently, Debbie had to search high and low for parts and materials to manage current supply- chain issues. Undeterred, Debbie quickly adjusted and found a way to get the job done.

Debbie is a huge fan of finance expert Dave Ramsey and has read all of his books.  She is passionate about learning more regarding financial planning and making wise life decisions.  Generous and caring, Debbie enjoys sharing all that she has learned about financial literacy with her colleagues.  She wants to help them make smart money decisions.  Debbie looks forward to traveling and seeing more of the world.  She wishes that there was less cruelty towards people and animals.  Debbie recommends giving each day one's best effort and not to dwell on yesterday's challenges.  She believes that we can be our best focusing on one day at a time.
