Studio L Photography is Jamaica bound. Being a destination wedding photographer is not all roses. I say this as I see my husband sprinting away toward baggage claim & our plane departing the gate without us.  I anxiously wait to hear whether we will make it to our final destination, the answer is no.  I am told he will not be boarding without his passport, which is understandable. Our extreme disappointment comes with good reason, it all started as we began boarding in Milwaukee and was told there was no room for any baggage in the overhead bin. Without hesitation, my husband kindly hands over his bags. With much hesitation, I explain that my equipment is much too valuable to check and I request to board the plane and try to find room.  Well, there was space for not only my bag, but my husband’s bag as well.  By this time, though, his baggage with his passport has been rerouted to the wrong destination.  Wow, am I glad I insisted on keeping my equipment in hand.  Instead of relaxing on the beach with a cold drink, we’re enjoying our cold drink at the airport TGIFridays.  The airline kindly puts us up in a hotel which Yelp rates ‘should be 0 stars’.  We were given enough reasons to laugh about the situation and we are always going to make the best of what we are given.  Let us hope our first class tickets will come through tomorrow and get us to our final destination.
