Door County Vacation | Wisconsin Fine Art Photography
Last September, my husband, son and I went on vacation to Door County in Wisconsin. We made some wonderful memories, and I wanted to share them with you.
This was our third annual family vacation here. The house we rented was in the town of Sister Bay, WI, and we were so fortunate to have my husband’s entire family come along.
We had a blast! The three little cousins love to play together, read books, and listen to Grandpa Joe play guitar. Many of the adults in the family work weekends, so it certainly is hard to get the whole clan together, but we made it work and are so glad we did.
Door County has so much to offer for family members of all ages. One of our favorite destinations is the Door County Creamery—we stop there every year for wine and fresh goat cheese. This year, we took our son to Plum Loco Animal Farm in Egg Harbor, WI. He loves horses and was so happy to be allowed to feed the animals.
Every trip, we also hike and bike the beautiful trails of Peninsula State Park. Of course, that always works up an appetite for ice cream at Wilson’s in Ephraim. Not that you need an excuse for amazing ice cream!
It was a perfect time away. I am so glad that we could capture these moments and have them to remember forever.
