Eric & Meghan were married on September 6, 2014, with a ceremony and reception at the Country Elegance Estates. I was so honored to be their Fox Valley Wisconsin Wedding photographer!

I love Eric and Meghan’s Engagement story. Eric loves baseball and played for UW-Whitewater in college and now plays for the Pewaukee Muskies (his alter-ego from his accountant day job at Kohler Company!) He took Megan to a baseball field to play catch and hit some fly balls. After they went to collect all the stray baseballs, Eric came over to Meghan and told her she had forgotten one. He knelt down and opened the missed baseball like a ring box!

I photographed Eric’s sister’s wedding several years ago, and I am so happy she started as a client and that now I can call her my friend. So it was wonderful to see the entire family again. Her 2 year old son was Eric and Meghan’s ring bearer!

The ceremony was gorgeous. Meghan’s grandfather was the officiant, and the wedding itself was full of touching and personal moments for the couple and both of their families. I love how Eric and Meghan read their own vows.

Country Elegance Estates did a beautiful job with the reception. I loved that the toasts for the couple were meaningful, emotional, and heartfelt. You could tell this whole wedding had a theme of family and love. During the reception, I snuck Eric and Meghan away for a few pictures alone. I love how these sunset photos came out, especially the private time they shared in that moment.
