Kiekhaefer Park Needs Volunteers
Kiekhaefer Park is a breathe of fresh air.
After a morning of working hard on our upcoming exhibition, Illuminating Women, I decided to take a hike at Kiekhaefer Park. This is where I met John Abler, the Taycheedah Town Supervisor and member of the Park & Recreation Committee.
John mentioned Kiekhaefer Park is in need of volunteers.
As a result, I'm highlighting this beautiful park and sharing their need with the community. Let's help them out!
Artist Bio
Laura Schneider was born in Wisconsin in 1980. At an early age, Laura recognized she had something different to offer the world. But, it wasn’t until recently that she realized what’s possible.
She was destined to become an artist, but the road to becoming one was long. Laura is a midwest-based artist who colors outside the lines of life. While earning her BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, her passion for photography ignited in the darkroom.
For nearly two decades, Laura has been capturing subtleties that go overlooked by the casual observer. Her perceptive nature gives her work character and revealing depth. She leverages her senses and the natural qualities of her environment to leave inspired, relatable creations in her wake.
