One Beautiful Dream by Jennifer Fulwiler
The first thing I do after settling into our cottage at Canoe Bay, head for the library, of course.
I look forward to visiting Canoe Bay’s library more with each visit. I enter and immediately feel relaxed and engaged with the variety of books. From art to history and memoirs to spiritual, I browse all of them. Inspiration surrounds me. Consuming all these books is a dream. After walking around the floor to ceiling bookshelves, I immediately see the 'New Trends' table. One Beautiful Dream, by Jennifer Fulfiller, is placed in the center. An author I have yet to hear about. The dust jacket reads, “family chaos, personal passions and saying yes to them both”. I NEED to read this and immediately pick it up.
One Beautiful Dream by Jennifer Fulwiler gives me goosebumps.
I’m only 52 pages in. Fulwiler quotes, “Every baby comes with a loaf of bread under his arm.” This resonates with me. There are countless reasons our third baby came into this world. Many of them beyond my comprehension. But I know, “God is trying to get my attention” just as the Fulwiler writes.
This is exactly where I am in life at this moment. Jennifer’s story is freakishly similar to mine. Except I don’t have 6 kids, only 3. If Jennifer Fulwiler’s fourth baby was to be a girl, her middle name would be Frances. After Frances of Rome. MY third and youngest baby girl is Frances Eleanore.
One Beautiful Dream: Colossians 1:29
“To this I labor, struggling with all His energy, which so powerfully works in me.”
I don’t believe in coincidences. There is a reason I’m at Canoe Bay, looking through their library, coming across overwhelming inspiration that is Jennifer Fulwiler’s One Beautiful Dream.
