Wisconsin Cabin On July Fourth
Visiting our Wisconsin cabin on July fourth is one of my favorite things to do.
Now that we're a family of five, it's SO hard to escape the duties of being a mom to three youngsters. There's endless laundry and dishes. Can't neglect the grocery shopping, meal prep and cooking. My children eat more than me, how is this possible at their young age?
But in the Wisconsin Northwoods, I forget about all this. It's easier for me to relax and enjoy the company I'm surrounded by.
Sprinklers and sparklers, fireworks and fun, campfires and BBQs - These are the moments I'll remember when I'm 80.
These are traditions we've been building for years.
I hear the excitement in their voices and see the excitement in their eyes. They love the same simple things that I enjoyed as a child.
This is what summer is all about.
The 100 Day Project is forcing me to carry my camera everyday. It prevents laziness from settling in. Cabin memories are the moments I want to capture. They’re always my favorite images. The ones I display in my home and frame for my walls.
I invite you along on this journey.
